On the Saturday night before the game, hit the Raider Rally at Ricky’s Sports Theatre & Grill on Hesperian Boulevard in San Leandro. You might spot coaches and former players banging their heads to the sound of RaiderHed, the unofficial team tribute band. If you’re dumb enough to wear opposing colors, only the South Shield tailgate promises safe passage to all fans. If you’ve got the huevos to face the Raider Nation, check out the Black Hole tailgate. In the stadium, you’ll find heavy-metal costumes and face paint so intricate it would make a Kiss cover band spit blood with envy.
